Troubleshoot projects
The preview won’t load
Section titled “The preview won’t load”If the project is sleeping, select Wake Up or send a message. If the preview failed to start, select Fix. If it still fails, refresh the preview or ask devlo in chat to fix the build error.
Publishing failed
Section titled “Publishing failed”The publish panel shows the reason, such as a build error. Ask devlo in chat to fix it, then select Publish again. Publishing needs a paid plan.
The custom domain stays pending
Section titled “The custom domain stays pending”Check that your DNS records match the ones in Admin > Domains exactly. DNS changes can take a while to apply, so wait, then select Check status again.
You can’t start a new project
Section titled “You can’t start a new project”You’ve reached your plan’s project limit. Every chat you own counts toward it, including repository chats. Higher plans allow more; see Plans and credits. To remove a chat you no longer need, email help@devlo.ai.
A turn ended early
Section titled “A turn ended early”Check the turn’s label:
- Out of credits: your balance ran out. Buy credits or upgrade, then send your message again. You also can’t send while your balance is nearly empty.
- Interrupted: devlo couldn’t finish the turn. Ask devlo to continue where it stopped, or send your message again.
- Declined: devlo won’t do that request. Reword it as a task for your app.
- Any other label: wait a moment, then send your message again.
Export to GitHub failed
Section titled “Export to GitHub failed”- The name is taken: that account already has a repository with that name. Enter a different one.
- devlo can’t reach the repository: select Connect installation, add the new repository to the devlo GitHub App, then select Sync.
- The token is refused: create a new fine-grained token with that account as the resource owner and the permissions the dialog lists, then select Create again.
