> What to type on GitHub, Jira, and Slack to start devlo.

Type these on GitHub, Jira, and Slack to start devlo. Chats in the app and the [Assistant](/get-started/assistant/) have no commands; describe what you want.

For who can use each one, see [Access and permissions](/security/access/#who-can-trigger-devlo).

* Write `@devloai` in lowercase. On issues, each saved edit to a comment that contains it starts another run and uses credits.
* In Jira, `<name>` is the repository name without its owner: `web` for `acme/web`.
* To add your own command, such as `/fix`, see [A `/fix` command](/automations/examples/#a-fix-command).
