# Quickstart: review your first pull request

> Connect GitHub, open a pull request, and read your first devlo review.

Open a pull request and devlo reviews it.

**Before you begin:** you need a GitHub repository where you can install apps. If your organization already uses devlo, start at step 3.

1. Sign in at [devlo.ai](https://devlo.ai/login).

2. Install the devlo GitHub App. See [Connect GitHub](/get-started/connect-github/).

3. Open a pull request in a connected repository, or comment `/review` on one that’s already open.

4. Wait a few minutes. devlo posts one review: a summary, plus inline comments on any problems it finds. If none appears, see [Troubleshoot code review](/code-review/troubleshooting/).

## What the review looks like

**devloai**botreviewed

`src/auth/session.ts`

This compares the token expiry in seconds with `Date.now()` in milliseconds, so every token looks expired.

⚡ **[Apply quick fix](#)**

The review starts with a summary. Each inline comment explains one problem, and many include a suggested change or a fix link. See [How code review works](/code-review/#what-a-review-looks-like).

## Act on the review

* Select **Apply quick fix** to have devlo push a fix to the pull request branch. Only the pull request author can use this link.
* Reply to a comment with `@devloai` to ask a question or request a change.
* React with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down on a comment so later reviews fit your team.

devlo doesn’t review again when you push commits. Comment `/review` for a new review. Each review uses credits; see [Plans and credits](/account/plans/).
