# Ask the Assistant

> Ask the Assistant about your account and repositories, start a pull request review, or create an automation from a sentence.

The Assistant is a chat in devlo that answers questions about your account and repositories and starts work for you. Open it from **Assistant** in the sidebar or the prompt box on **Home**.

The prompt box on Home starts a conversation with the Assistant.

## What it can do

* Answer questions about your plan, credits, and how devlo works. Owners and admins can also ask about their organization, such as its analytics and outcomes. Users can ask about their own activity.
* Read your repositories’ code and pull requests. It can’t change code; to change a pull request, mention `@devloai` on it.
* Link you to the right setting.
* Offer to start a new project or repository chat from your request.
* Start a review of a pull request. Free organizations get one a day.
* Create an automation.

Caution

The Assistant has no confirm step. A review it starts runs at once, uses credits, and posts on the pull request. An automation it creates is saved and turned on at once; open the link in its reply to check it.
