# Pull requests

> Mention @devloai on a pull request to ask questions, have fixes pushed to the branch, or get tests written.

Mention `@devloai` on a pull request to ask a question, request a change, or get tests written. The built-in **PR Assistant** automation answers these mentions. You need write access to the repository.

## Mention devlo

Write `@devloai` in a new pull request comment or in a reply to a review comment. devlo reads the pull request and the thread, then replies or pushes commits to its branch. In a review thread, `@devloai fix this` fixes what the comment describes.

```text
@devloai why is this test flaky?
@devloai add unit tests for parseConfig
@devloai fix this
```

## Limits

* devlo usually can’t push to pull requests from forks.
* Running commands such as tests, builds, and linters needs the [Startup plan or higher](/account/plans/). On other plans devlo still edits code and pushes commits.

To fix failing checks automatically, set up an [automation](/automations/examples/#fix-failing-ci-checks).

## Configure the PR Assistant

Owners and admins configure it under **Automations > PR Assistant**, with the same fields as any [automation](/automations/create/). Put rules every `@devloai` run follows in **Additional Instructions**. More capable models use more credits. Its **Runs** tab lists each run and the credits it used.
