# Preview, Code, and Admin

> Use and share the live preview, wake a sleeping project, edit files in the Code tab, and set project settings and standing instructions in the Admin tab.

The panel next to the chat has three tabs: **Preview**, **Code**, and **Admin**.

## Preview

The **Preview** tab shows your running app and updates as devlo edits it. Use its toolbar to check a mobile width or share the link.

The preview lives at `https://preview-<project-id>.apps.devlo.app`.

Preview links are public

Anyone with the link can open the preview, and opening it can wake the project. On the Free plan, visitors can’t always wake an older project from the link; you can always wake it from the chat. For a lasting public address, [publish the project](/build/publish/).

If the project is asleep, select **Wake Up** or send a message. If the preview doesn’t load, see [Troubleshoot projects](/build/troubleshooting/#the-preview-wont-load).

## Code tab Paid plans (projects)

Browse and edit your app’s files in the **Code** tab, then select **Save**. In projects it needs a paid plan; in [repository chats](/coding/devlo-app/) it works on every plan.

## Admin tab

The **Admin** tab is only in projects. It holds the project’s settings, such as its [custom domain](/build/publish/#connect-a-custom-domain) and its [database and secrets](/build/database/).

**Admin > Knowledge** holds standing instructions devlo follows in this project, such as brand colors or coding rules, so you don’t repeat them in every message.
